Aloo Gobi (Potato & Cauliflower) Sabji with Spices Recipe



Aloo Gobi is type of indian recipe which makes easily by everyone and enjoy with roti or dal-rice. It is a delicious dish made with potatoes, cauliflower and a spices. It is a simple and easy recipe that was done in about 15 minutes and perfect when you have less time for dinner or lunch. Usually all over indian people are used to make it and enjoy it once in a week.

Ingredients

1 medium size cauliflower
4 Potatoes
1 chopped Onion
1 chopped Tomato
1/2 cup Green peas
1/2 tsp Ginger paste
1/2 tsp Garlic paste
2-3 Green Chili
1/2 tsp Tumeric powder
2 tsp Cumin seeds Powder
2 tsp Coriander Powder
2 tsp Red Chili Powder
1 tsp Garam Masala
2 tsp Coriander Powder
3 tsp Oil
Salt to taste

Method

1. Cut cauliflower and potato into medium sized cubes and wash it.
2. Heat oil in a frying pan / kadhai. Add green chili, ginger garlic and stir for few seconds.
3. Add chopped onions and fry over medium heat until light golden brown. Add chopped tomato and green peas. Cook until tender.
4. Add red chili powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, dry coriander powder, garam masala and salt. Mix well.
5. Add cauliflower and potato and stir. Saute for 5 minutes. Cover the pan / kadhai and cook over medium heat until tender. Occasionally stir it to prevent sticking to the bottom.
6. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
