Paneer Tikka Masala
Paneer Tikka Masala is very common and famous north indian gravy dish and likes by everyone.It is very spicy dish

Ingredients

0.55 lbs paneer (cottagte cheese) cubes
100 ml milk or cream
1/4 cup butter
5 tbsp oil
5 to 8 cashew nuts (kaju)
2 tsp fenugreek (methi) seeds
3/4 tsp roasted cumin seeds (jeera) powder
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp sugar
2 chopped onions 1 " chopped ginger (adrak)
6 to 7 cloves garlic (lehsun)
4 chopped tomatoes
3 green chili
1 chopped capsicum
4 cardamoms
4 black cardamoms
4 cloves (laung / lavang)
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp sugar
salt to taste

Method

1. Peel the onions, ginger, garlic and grind to a fine paste.
2. Puree the tomatoes and then cook the onion paste in oil till light brown in color.
3. Add the chili powder, cook for a few minutes and then add the cream slowly.
4. Grind the cumin seeds, cardamom, black cardamom, cloves, ginger, garlic and soaked cashew nuts into smooth paste. Keep aside.
5. Then add the garam masala, salt, sugar and enough water and cook till the oil separates and the gravy becomes thick.
6. Lastly add the fenugreek seeds (methi) and keep aside.
7. In another pan, add the green chilies, capsicum, onions and sauté it in butter for a few minutes.
8. Add these sautéd vegetables, paneer pieces to the masala gravy.
9. Keep for few minutes and serve hot with rice or chapati.
