Curd rice also called yogurt rice is a dish of South India. It is most popular and very healthy dish.
Ingredients
1 cup cooked rice
2 cups plain curd(yogurt)
1/4 cup milk
2 green chillies
1 inch ginger
2 tbsp grated coconut
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp urad dal
1 tsp channa dal
Few Coriander leaves
4-5 curry leaves
2 tbsp oil
salt to taste
Method
1. Finely chop the green chillies, ginger and coriander separately and set it aside.
2. Add oil into pan add the mustard seeds, urad dal, channa dal and curry leaves and saute till the it turns brown.
3. Add the green chillies, coriander and ginger and sauté till they are cooked well.
4. Add the cooked rice, salt, grated coconut and mix well.
5. Add the curd and milk ten minutes before serving.
