This is a great side dish consisting of mushrooms. Very spicy and tasty dish for mushroom lovers.
Ingredients
3 Finely grind onions
2 garlic cloves
10 button mushrooms into small pieces
1/4 tsp of red chilly powder
1/4 tsp of turmeric powder
1/4 tsp of garam masala powder
1/4 tsp of salt
1/4 tsp of Amchur powder
1/4 tsp sugar
2-3 cloves
2-3 cinnamon
10-12 fennel seeds
Method
1. Mix red chilly powder, turmeric powder, any curry masala powder, garam masala powder and set aside.
2. In a hot pan add 4 tsp of oil, add cloves, cinnamon, fennel seeds.
3. Add the onion paste and fry for few seconds in low flame.
4. Add the masala powders and stir for few more seconds.
5. Now add the mushrooms and stir until the mushroom is well coated with the masala.
6. Cover and cook for 6 minutes.
7. Once the mushroom is cooked, a pinch of Amchur powder, sugar and cook for 4 more minutes.
8. Serve fresh with any rice, chapathi or roti.
