Stuffed Chili (Bharela Marcha) is one of the Indian dish for spicy lovers. It is easy to make in very less amount of time and ingredients. It serves as an additional dish apart from main menu.
Ingredients
5 long and thick green chillies
1 tbsp oil
For stuffing:
1/2 cup gram flour (besan)
2 tbsp cumin
2 tbsp coriander powder
1/2 tbsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp red chilli powder
1 small chopped onion (optional)
1 large chopped tomato (optional)
2 cloves garlic paste (optional)
2 tbsp lemon juice
Enough water
Salt to taste
Method
1. Mix all ingredients for stuffing and enough water to make a fairly thick batter.
2. Make a slit in each chilli and remove the seeds.
3. Stuff the gram flour material into the chillies tightly.
4. Heat the oil in a pan and place all the chillies in the pan one by one.
5. Reduce the heat and cook for 3 or 4 minutes so that chillies becomes soft and gram flour stuffing absorb the oil.
6. Turn off the flame and place it into serving plate.
