Vegetable Raita Recipe


A raita is also called the Indian yoghurt salad, is a simple dish made by adding vegetables or any other thing to beaten curds. Most Indian families enjoy curds either plain or in the form of delicious raitas.

Ingredients

2 Cup curd
2 Chopped onions
1/2 Chopped tomato
1 Chopped grated cucumber
2 Chopped green chilies
1/4 tsp Roasted cumin seeds powder
1/4 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp ground black pepper powder
1/4 tsp mint Powder
1/4 tsp chat masala
Salt to taste

Method

1. Beat the curd till it turns smooth.
2. Add chopped onion, tomato and grated cucumber, green chilies.
3. Mix it well.
4. Add roasted cumin seeds powder,black pepper powder,mint powder,coriander powder,chat powder and salt.
5. Put it into cooling place for 30 mins and serve it.
