Methi Puri Recipe


Methi Puri is very nutritious and healthy snacks with lots of proteins and vitamins.Best way to Serve and enjoy it with chai(Tea).

Ingredients

2 cups whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
1 cup chopped fenugreek leaves (methi)
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp ginger-green chilli paste
1/2 tsp cumin seeds powder
1/2 tsp asafoetida
1 tsp lemon juice
Water as required
oil to fry
salt to taste



Method

1. Mix wheat flour, fenugreek leaves, salt, turmeric powder, cumin seeds powder, ginger-green chilli paste, asafoetida and lemon juice.
2. Now make soft dough, using water and knead it well until it becomes soft.
3. Divide the dough into small balls and roll each ball into a round puri.
4. Heat oil in a frying pan and fry 1-2 puris at a time, until it turns golden brown.
5. Drain thr oil and serve it.
