A Koki is a traditional Sindhi breakfast dish, it is a whole wheat with onions and spices. It can be eaten just as it is or with curd, chutney and pickle.
Ingredients
2 cups wheat flour
4 tbsp ghee
5 tbsp oil
2 finely chopped Onions
4 finely chopped Green chilly
1 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves
water to need
Salt to taste
Method
1. In a large bowl, take the wheat flour and add onions, green chillies and coriander leaves.
2. Add salt and 5 tbsp of oil to the mixture.
3. Pour water to make dough and roll out round balls from this dough, make sure that the dough is not too soft. Keep the dough aside for sometime.
4. Make round and slightly thick rotis (koki) and put the roti (koki) on the pan, and cook it on a low flame.
5. Spread ghee around the edges, Cook them till it turns to golden brown.
6. Serve hot with curd, chutney and pickle.
