Tomato Chutney is a simple chutney recipe, It is very tasty, very easy and spicy to eat with any type of dishes. You can enjoy it with dosa and idli.
Ingredients
4 Tomatoes cuts into slices
4 Small onion cut into slices
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp fennel seeds powder
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp asafoetida
oil
Curry Leave
Salt to taste
Method
1. Heat the oil in to a kadai, add the onions and fry it for few mins till it turns into golden brown.
2. Add the tomatoes and again fry well.
3. Add the red chili powder, fennel seeds powder, salt.
4. Grind it well into grinder.
5. Pour some oil and put mustard seeds and let the crackles and then add asafoetida and curry leaves.
6. Pour the grinded paste in it and mix it well.
7. Serve it with any combination of dishes.
