Banana Bread Recipe


Banana Bread is very sweet in taste and you can eat and enjoy it in your breakfast or snacks. It is specially for children.

Ingredients

1 cup Wheat flour
1 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
3 bananas (well ripened)
1/2 tsp Vanilla essence
Salt to taste

Method

1. Preheat the oven to 350 F.
2. Beat butter and sugar and mix it well.
3. Mash the bananas separately and add vanilla essence.
4. In another bowl mix the wheat flour, all purpose flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda.
5. Mix butter, sugar, bananas and flour mixture gently and pour the batter in the greased loaf pans.
6. Bake for 60 minutes or until the toothpick inserted into the center of the pan comes out clean.
7. Cut it into pieces and Serve hot.
