Cabbage (Patta Gobi) Sabji Recipe



Cabbage (Patta Gobi) Sabji Recipe is very easy to make and is part of every day menu, It is very nutritious sabji and enjoy with Roti or Dal and Rice.

Ingredients

1 cabbage trimmed and cut into florets
1 tbsp oil
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp asafoetida
1 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric Powder
1/2 tsp lemon juice
salt to taste

Method

1. In a large saucepan, heat the oil mediun heat.
2. Add the mustard seeds and let them crackle, once it crackles add asafoetida.
3. Add salt, turmeric powder and cabbage and mix it well.
4. Cover pan, reduce heat to low and cook cabbage for 15 mins.
5. Add chilli powder and mix it well and cook for 10 mins.
6. Add lemon juice and serve it with Roti or Dal and Rice.
