Pizza Base Recipe

Here we have home made Pizza Base recipe. It is a healthier alternative of pizza base as it makes from whole wheat flour instead of plain flour.You can use it to make Italian Pizza.


Ingredients

2 cups plain flour/whole wheat flour
2 tsp fresh yeast
1 tsp sugar
1 tbsp oil
1/2 cup milk
1 cup water
salt to taste

Method

1. Warm together milk and water.
2. Sprinkle in yeast and mix it well and covered for 20 minutes.
3. Add yeast, oil sugar and salt into flour and mix it well.
4. Knead for 5 minutes till it turns smooth.
5. Cover it and keep aside for 45 minutes.
6. Knead again and rest for 30 mins.
7. Divide the dough into equal parts and roll each portion into a thick circle.
8. Prick each circle 4 to 5 times with a fork.
9. place it onto a heated skillet/tava lightly greased with some oil and cook it till base turns into crispy.
