Cheese Vegetable Frankie Recipe

Cheese Vegetable Frankie is a simple wrap filled with vegetables and cheese. It can be served as a snack, breakfast or a light dinner.

Ingredients

For Stuffing :

1/4 cup boiled green peas
1/4 cup boiled green beans
1/4 cup shredded cabbage
1/4 cup sliced carrots
1/2 cup capsicum cuts into thin slices
1/2 cup onion cuts into thin slices
1/2 cup tomato cuts into thin slices
1 tbsp green chilli paste
1 tbsp giner-garlic paste
1 tsp garam masala powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 cup grated cheese
1 tbsp butter
ghee/oil for fry
salt to taste

For Roti :

1 cup plain flour
water
1 tbsp oil
salt to taste

Method

For Roti :

1. Take plain flour, water, salt and oil, mix it well and make a soft dough.
2. Roll out round balls from this and keep the dough aside for sometime.
3. Make round rotis and put it on the pan and cook it into soft roti on a low flame and keep aside.

For Stuffing :

1. Heat butter into pan and add green chilli paste and ginger garlic paste into it.
2. Add onion, capsicum into pan and let them cook till it turns into golden brown.
3. Add green peas, green beans, shredded cabbage, carrots and salt into it and mix it well and cook for 5 mins.
4. Add tomato and red chilli powder, turmeric powder and garam masala powder and mix it well.
5. Add half of the cheese into it and mix it well.

For Frankie :

1. Take one roti and add 1 spoon of stuffing masala.
2. Fold the roti from edges using some ghee/oil.
3. Heat the ghee/oil into skillet/tava and cook it till it turns into golden brown from both the side.
4. Spread the cheese on it and Serve it hot with ketchup.
