Pearl Millet(Bajari) Vada
Bajri Vada is very tasty and special dish of Gujaratis and enjoy to have it with hot Tea, it is very traditional method of making it. It is a very good option of pakodas.

Ingredients

2 cups Pearl Millet(Bajari) flour
1/2 cup wheat flour
1 tbsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp coriander seeds powder
1 tsp coriander seeds
2 tbsp jaggery
1 tsp garam masala
1/2 cup sour curd
1 tbsp sesame seeds
1 tsp ajwain
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1/4 tsp soda
2 tbsp oil
1/2 cup water
oil to fry
salt to taste

Method

1. Mix both flour and mix with all spicys and ginger garlic paste.
2. Mix 2 tbsp oil, soda, jaggery and water and boil it and mix it well.
3. Add the water into flour and knead it well.
4. Take a small portion of flour and make a small ball.
5. Press it like wada by palm very slowly.
6. Fry it in oil till it turns brown.
7. Serve it with plain curd or tea.
