
Ingredients
8-10 small sized potatoes
2 tsp garlic paste
4-5 whole red chillies
1/2 tbsp coriander seeds
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
small piece of cinnamon
4-5 cloves
2-3 bay leaves
2 tbsp ghee
1/4 tsp asafoetida
1 tsp ginger chilli paste
1 cup fresh curd
2 tbsp grated fresh coconut
1 tsp coriander seeds powder
salt to taste
Method
1. Boil and peel small size potatoes and cut them into 2 pieces.
2. Mix red chilli powder, coriander seeds, cloves and bay leaves.
3. Soak all these in a little water and grind it into mixture till it turns into fine paste.
4. Heat the ghee and fry the cumin seeds and asafoetida for 1 min.
5. Add garlic paste, ginger chilli paste and fry them.
6. Add coriander powder, curs, salt and grated coconut.
7. Fry for 2-3 mins and add potatoes and fry again for 2-3 minutes.
8. Serve Hot with roti or naan.
