Rajsthani Potatoes
Who doesn’t like to indulge in the culinary cuisines of Rajasthani culture? Here, we present the recipe of special potatoes cooked with of Rajasthani spices and herbs, to give it a mouth-watering taste. Just try this out when you’re hosting a party at your place and see your guests licking their dishes

Ingredients

8-10 small sized potatoes
2 tsp garlic paste
4-5 whole red chillies
1/2 tbsp coriander seeds
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
small piece of cinnamon
4-5 cloves
2-3 bay leaves
2 tbsp ghee
1/4 tsp asafoetida
1 tsp ginger chilli paste
1 cup fresh curd
2 tbsp grated fresh coconut
1 tsp coriander seeds powder
salt to taste

Method

1. Boil and peel small size potatoes and cut them into 2 pieces.
2. Mix red chilli powder, coriander seeds, cloves and bay leaves.
3. Soak all these in a little water and grind it into mixture till it turns into fine paste.
4. Heat the ghee and fry the cumin seeds and asafoetida for 1 min.
5. Add garlic paste, ginger chilli paste and fry them.
6. Add coriander powder, curs, salt and grated coconut.
7. Fry for 2-3 mins and add potatoes and fry again for 2-3 minutes.
8. Serve Hot with roti or naan.
