Paneer Makhani Recipe


With the entrance of rains, the smell of paneer curry is frilled out from almost every house's kitchen. Paneer Makhani, contains every nutricious and tasty element of spices, oil, cream, butter and of course the white cubes of paneer, with outstanding taste good for adults, youngsters, elders, housewives and kids too. Make a blend of paneer, veggies and spices mix.

Ingredients

1 cup paneer
1.5 cup coconut milk
1/4 cup mawa
1/2 cup onion paste
1 tsp green chilies paste
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp curry masala
1 tsp coriander powder
10 cashewnuts
10 raisins
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp finely chopped coriander leaves
4 red chilies
4 cloves garlic
1 tbsp cumin seeds
2 tbsp finely grated coconut
1 tbsp poppy seeds
1/2 tsp coriander seeds
3 cardamom seeds
2 pieces of cinnamon
5 cloves
5 peppercorns
2 tbsp cream
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp ghee
2 tbsp oil
salt to taste

Method

1. Add little water and grinding garlic, cumin seeds, grated coconut, poppy seeds, coriander seeds, cardamom seeds, cinnamon, cloves, peppercorns and make a paste and put aside.
2. Cut the paneer into long stripes and deep fry it and soak it into water and put aside.
3. Grate the coconut and add 1/2 cup hot water into it and grind it and make a soft paste into mixer and take a coconut milk from it by strain the mixture.
4. Add the paste into milk and mix it well.
5. Take one vessel and heat the ghee into it.
6. Add onions and green chili paste into it till it turns into light brown.
7. Add coconut milk, mawa, salt and paneer into vessel and fry it for 5 mins.
8. Add spices i.e curry masala, coriander powder, cashewnuts, raisins, turmeric powder and lemon juice and mix it well and boil it for 5 mins and add butter.
9. You can garnish with cream and coriander leaves and serve it hot with roti or naan.
